P&M chose Berchtesgaden, Germany for their elopement photos after searching for an easy access location they could explore with a 4 hour timeline.

With this time, we were able to read private vows during a serene, misty sunrise and explore the forests as a golden sun rose.

During their elopement, the mist was honestly just unreal. The emerald green water was completely calm, like a mirror. They hopped around the boulders and enjoyed the autumn views.

  • Leave no trace and make minimal noise! Germans are polite, private and quiet.
  • Bring a drink to celebrate with.
  • Bring hiking boots and practical footwear.
  • Shops and stores are closed on Sundays and after 6:00pm. Plan ahead!
