Having your wedding photos at Burg Eltz means a 100% chance of the most romantic, dreamy, fairy tale vibes imaginable. This is a location for wedding photos that would make even Cinderella jealous. S&F booked their elopement almost exactly a year before the date, making the entire thing stress free and super chill.
I loved their location idea, since Burg Eltz is hands down one of the most charming castles Germany has to offer. If you’re looking for the perfect romantic backdrop for wedding or engagement photos: here it is. Castle Eltz is tucked away in a lush, green valley surrounded by trees and silence.
It’s also high on my list of the Best Places to Get Married or Elope in Germany.
If you wake up for sunrise to do wedding photos at Burg Eltz, you will have the place mostly to yourself. But in the meantime, while the crowds are still sleeping, Burg eltz is an absolute dream itself…
Fun Fact: burg Eltz is 850 years old and has been in the Eltz family for over 33 generations. Thirty THREE!
Love is definitely in the details.

After it was official, they popped some biodegradable floral confetti and began exploring…
The things that make my clients unique are some of my favorite things to capture. I love the stories your scars and tattoos tell, just as much as the smiles on your faces!
…and they lived happily ever after.
